Ambassador Role

Ambassadors are advocates for STEM education and prioritize year-round networking to raise awareness for and increase local participation in eCYBERMISSION. Depending on their networks, Ambassadors recruit schools, organizations, and individuals in their communities to participate in eCYBERMISSION.

Who are Ambassadors

Ambassadors may have any background as long as they have a passion for supporting students and an interest in STEM. Ambassadors have been teachers, college professors, STEM professionals, members of the military, community members, or parents/guardians of past eCYBERMISSION students.

Role Requirements

  • A satisfactory background check, conducted by eCYBERMISSION, is required
  • Ambassadors must be 18 years or older.
  • Ambassadors should complete at least three recruitment activities per year.
    • Recruitment activities include eCYBERMISSION related emails, meetings, volunteer referrals, or promotion of eCYBERMISSION on social media.

Ambassadors may also volunteer as Mission Mentors or form their own team(s) as a Team Advisor. Ambassadors also interested in serving as Virtual Judges should contact [email protected].
